You wake up sweaty, your heart pounding like a thousand lifetimes passing through it and there is an unbearable pain in the pit of your stomach, pulsating gloriously in rhythm to the strange new murmurings of your strange new heart.
Then you remember that you were in the middle of giving birth. You probably passed out. This somehow blurs the pain in the heart and refocuses you on the birthing pain. Something momentous is about to happen, brand new life is going to come out of you. The joy you anticipate is almost good enough to make up for the pain.
You look down the bed and see a floor instead of the bed. You are probably in the toilet trying to get something other than a baby out of yourself. You are giving birth alright. You wonder what is really happening.
You complete the fart in silence without waking up.
